theMarketer is an email marketing and loyalty platform that helps online businesses manage and engage with their subscribers and drive customer loyalty while empowering users through referral programs, surveys, and UGC.

Our clients are businesses eager to leverage the power of email marketing and loyalty programs and we are looking for someone proactive, friendly, and passionate about developing businesses in this area.

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to identify opportunities and develop the Czech market. The role requires a candidate with a strong understanding & proven sales experience in the digital marketing industry, loyalty programs or related industries.

Responsible for:

  • Represent theMarketer in Czech Republic;
  • Build and execute the strategic vision and plan to expand and develop theMarketer in the Czech Republic;
  • Represent theMarketer in all commercial engagements and meetings with major clients and business partners;
  • Acquire and demonstrate expert knowledge of all theMarketer services and resources;
  • Define and drive action plans to create strong relationships with local partners and develop partnerships with new stakeholders (eCommerce platforms, marketing agencies, etc.);
  • Cooperate with the Romanian HQ team (Marketing, IT, Comercial, Customer Support, Partnership)


  • Fluent/Native Czech language;
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills;
  • Previous working experience in sales or business development in this or related industries for a minimum of 5 years;
  • Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in marketing, technology or business;
  • A strong grasp of modern technology and digital marketing is essential to the job;
  • Previous experience in implementing marketing and sales strategies in new countries is a big plus;
  • Organized, analytical person with strong technical and strategic skills;
  • Able to work with budgets and KP’s;
  • Must be able to multitask effectively and to problem-solve when needed;
  • Must have a professional approach in speaking ability and attitude.
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies quickly.
